At Proposly, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.
What data we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and optional company name when you create an account.
- Proposal content: the proposals you create, including titles, descriptions, line items, and pricing.
- Signature data: electronic signatures, signer email, IP address, and user agent when a proposal is signed.
- Usage data: when proposals are viewed, opened, and signed (audit trail).
Why we collect it
- To provide and maintain the Proposly service.
- To send you notifications when your proposals are viewed, signed, or declined.
- To verify signer identity through email verification codes.
- To create legally valid audit trails for electronic signatures.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Proposly:
- Supabase (database & authentication) — stores your account and proposal data. Based in the US with EU data processing.
- Resend (email delivery) — sends transactional emails such as proposal notifications and verification codes.
- Vercel (hosting) — serves the Proposly web application. SOC 2 Type II certified with edge network.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.
Cookies
Proposly uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any form of tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and proposals are permanently removed within 30 days.
